Our collection of videos feature some of the diverse stories that we've uncovered from Exeter's multicultural past. This collection includes stories that bring new perspectives to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum's Collections, Exeter during World War II, the local Jewish Community, and the city in the Victorian Era. 

Introduction

Community researchers Ravindra J Nathwani, Sandhya Dave and Anita Nathwani explore stories and meanings of the Hindu god Ganesh and his statue in the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

Black GIs in Exeter

Crystal Carter tells the story of the Black American soldiers stationed in Exeter during World War II, and the racist policies used to separate them from their White colleagues.
